I offer engaging, culturally responsive trainings and presentations designed to support growth, deepen understanding, and strengthen skills across a variety of settings. Whether you’re a school, organization, or community group, my goal is to create a space that is both informative and meaningful.
Trainings are tailored to meet the unique needs of your group and can be adapted for different audiences, including educators, mental health professionals, parents, and community leaders.
Common topics include:
Anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation
Trauma-informed care
Supporting children and adolescents
Burnout and self-care for professionals
Women’s issues and identity
Communication and relationship skills
Culturally responsive and inclusive practices
My presentations are:
Interactive and engaging
Rooted in evidence-based practices
Grounded in cultural humility and real-life application
Designed to leave participants with practical tools they can use right away
I aim to create an environment where participants feel comfortable asking questions, reflecting, and connecting the material to their own experiences.
Trainings can be offered:
In-person or virtually
As one-time workshops or ongoing series
Customized in length (from 60 minutes to full-day trainings)
If you’re looking for a specific topic not listed, I’m happy to collaborate and create something tailored to your needs.
I also offer facilitation using the A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) model, an evidence-informed approach that uses creative expression as a pathway toward healing and connection.
AWBW is a trauma-informed expressive arts framework that supports individuals in processing experiences, building resilience, and fostering a sense of empowerment through creativity. No artistic experience is needed—this work is about expression, not perfection.
In these sessions, participants are guided through creative activities such as:
Painting or drawing
Writing or storytelling
Mindfulness and grounding exercises
Reflective group discussion (optional and always at your comfort level)
The focus is on creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals can explore emotions, build insight, and connect with themselves and others.
AWBW facilitation can be beneficial for:
Survivors of trauma
Children, adolescents, and adults
Community groups and organizations
Individuals seeking alternative or complementary healing approaches
Participants often experience:
Increased emotional expression and awareness
A sense of connection and community
Reduced stress and improved coping
Opportunities for reflection and personal growth
If you’re interested in scheduling a training, presentation, or AWBW workshop, I’d love to collaborate with you. Reach out to discuss your needs, audience, and goals.
